Only 2 materials were allowed for the creation of this project: hot glue and recycled cardboard.  Each group was then asked to create a chair that was able to hold a 200-pound person. 

 

Our team created The Trimod.  It seats either one or two people, depending on how it is setup. The use of triangles allowed us to create a sturdy seat that was reinforced with multiple layers of cardboard in a triangular shape.
